Hi, I am Sabine, a certified dog trainer, animal lover and much more…

A dog loving, fun and energetic ABCD certified dog trainer (Animal Behavior College) and photographer ( visit: Sabine Oexmann Photography) I was born and raised in Germany and have had a passion for animals ever since I was a little kid.

Animal lover since I was a child

In 2004 I discovered my second passion for the beautiful nature of the Western US. Years later I came over for graduate school and as a result now have a Masters degree in Public Relations and a husband who shares my love for animals and traveling.

Certified Dog Trainer, CGC Evaluator, Tester/Observer for Alliance of Therapy Dogs

I truly enjoy teaching dogs and their owners how to improve communication and grow their relationship in the process. Research has shown time and time again, that not only do reward-based methods contribute to a better relationship between dog and handler and better overall dog welfare, but these training methods are also more effective for the successful long-term treatment of every kind of behavior issue (read more here).

Efficient and positive training for you and your pet

My goal is to provide a fun and efficient training experience that both will enjoy, the dogs and the handlers.

My dogs KT and Stevie are my best friends. They show me every day, how much they enjoy reward based training.

Memberships in dog training industry organizations

I am a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and the Alliance of Therapy Dogs (ATD) and have made it my mission to never stop learning. I stay updated on modern training philosophies to improve my knowledge and ability to help my clients and try to attend industry conferences like the APDT annual conference in 2023 and webinars whenever possible.

Specializing in Dog Reactivity

Since I am especially interested in helping reactive and anxious dogs with tendency for aggression, I attended the Aggression in Dogs conference and completed the Master Course Aggression in Dogs held by Michael Shikashio. He is an internationally sought after keynote speaker and presenter on the topic of dog aggression at numerous events, conferences, and universities worldwide.
