Puppy Class I

(next class starts Wednesday, January 8th at 5:30pm)

With maximum 4 participants, our classes are small to give everyone the deserved attention. Besides covering the most important commands such as sit, down, stay etc., we also work on social skills and confidence building and includes supervised playtime. We are using positive reinforcement training methods to make this a relaxed and fun experience for both, the dog and the owner.

Who can participate: puppies 10 weeks to 5 months old

Requirements: Fully vaccinated according to age

Duration: 6 weeks

Basic Manners Class

for dogs ages >6 months

With maximum 3 participants, this class is small to give everyone the deserved attention. We are using positive reinforcement dog training and our trainers are certified and members the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, an organization dedicated to establishing high scientific ethical standards in the unregulated dog training industry. 

Who can participate? Dogs ages 6months and older

Location: 2502 Mountain View Drive, Cody/Wyoming

Duration: 6 weeks

Cost: $230

Requirements: Proof of updated vaccination records, no aversive training equipment permitted

Recall…..really!

Recall practice class – for dogs 6 months and older (next class start tbd (please get in touch!)

We will work on how to develop a reliable recall and keep it.

Who can sign up?: Dogs age 6 month and older

Location: will be defined each session

Duration: 4 weeks

Cost: $165

Requirements: Proof of updated vaccinations, NO retractable leashes, prong or e-collars

NEW: Real Life Training Class

(Thursdays at 10:30am – continuous drop-in class for former clients)

We are practicing our training skills in real life settings like a park or a store. This is supposed to help you handle your dog in new environments and have fun to go to places together. It will be different group of dogs every week and will be a great way to work around distractions.

Who can sign up?: Former 307HappyDog clients (no highly reactive dogs). If you haven’t worked with us before and are interested, an initial evaluation session is required.

Location: Changes every week

Duration: 50minutes

Cost: $30/session (purchase of a 5 punch card is required, expires in 6 months)

Requirements: Proof of updated vaccinations, NO retractable leashes, prong or e-collars

Canine Good Citizen (CGC) prep class incl. test

(next class starts: Tuesday, January 7th at 6:45pm)

The CGC program is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. It is a two part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. In this class, we will work on the 10 test items that are required to pass the CGC test. If your dog passes all 10 items, she may receive a title and certificate from the American Kennel Club (AKC). Read more about our CGC class here.

Who can sign up?: Dogs who have basic training using positive reinforcement

Duration: 7 weeks incl. test

Cost: $230

Requirements: Proof of updated vaccinations, NO retractable leashes, prong or e-collars

We offer professional guidance by a certified dog trainer using efficient positive reinforcement training methods. This is a great opportunity for socialization, structured learning and help with solving problem behaviors. You’ll have plenty of opportunities for hands-on practice during class sessions, with guidance from our trainer every step of the way.

We want our training to be fun for both, you and your dog. This is why we do not allow the use of harsh training methods or equipment like prong, choke or e-collars.
